SCRAP MATERIALS
We are experts in the field of processing of scrap metals. Meltal IS generates 80% of its turnover from the sale of scrap metal, particularly aluminium and other non-ferrous metals. We are a leading company in this field in Slovenia and we annually sell and process more than 40,000 tons of scrap metal. We have a recycling-processing plant in Slovenja vas near Ptuj, Slovenia, and collection points in Kranj, Maribor and Ljubljana. We employ more than 100 workers. We purchase metals in the larger part of Europe at the highest market prices according to the daily LME (London Metal Exchange). We purchase, collect, sort and process your metals, and prepare them for further processing, e.g. as castings for the largest European foundries. Our mission is to recycle as much of the scrap metal as possible and to return it back to reuse.
We have received a certificate under Regulation 333/2011, which allows us to recycle scrap metal into a product in accordance with regulatory requirements.
The material is sorted and processed in different ways in accordance with the needs of our customers. In the manufacturing process, we use a sorting line, metal shears, baling machine and other machinery.
